Amy's eyes lit up at the image of Spinrad's _Little Heroes_.
She yelled back at the owner of the construct. "You had that and
didn't tell me?!?! You little punk!" She slammed her first down on
the table, upsetting her previous conversation partner's drink.

The slouching man halted his exit and almost cowered. "Hey, I
didn't know you were interested..." After he turned around, he
visibly gained some bravado after catching a glimpse of her. "But
maybe if you have something to trade..." His grin was unbelievably
lecherous.

She stood up and shook her head sadly. "That's just like you
to say that..." She kicked over her chair and donned her leather
flight jacket in one motion (momentarily pausing to brush off the
nameplate on it: "Capt A G Dhala"), and then swaggered over to the
man, black combat boots clomping all the way.

The man gulped as she stood squarely in front of him, unsure
of what she would do. She stood there for a second and then made her
move. It was not unlike a smooth Akido motion, throwing him towards
the floor. However she stopped in mid-execution...and kissed him
full on the lips while holding him there.

The man's eyes bugged out and his arms flailed around as Dhala
applied obvious liberal tongue-play. Finally she grabbed his jacket
and set him back on his feet. He gasped for breath and mumbled,
"shheeesh!"

She wasn't exactly a beautiful woman, being almost Amazonian
in build, but there was something sensuous, exotic, wild, even
dangerous about her. She purred, "Long time no see, babe..."
Smiling, she took a handful of hardcopy out of her jacket pocket. "I
think I already let you read this, but here's a copy: it's John
Varley's 'The Phantom of Kansas'. Spread the wealth, I always say...

"Anyway, I got a flight to Uranus", she ingnored the few
giggles in the room, "in two hours. My ship ain't FTL, but he's got
the best maintained Schweiness Drive around." She grinned ferally.
"And anyone who doesn't think I should have it is welcome to wrestle
me for it..."

The slouched fellow quickly recovered from Amy's assault and responed
"well if you're outbound then I guess it makes it tough. I have LITTLE
HEROES on real paper, it's actually an old fashioned hard cover book."
Gauging Amy's suddenly slitted eyes of interest he knew he hooked her.
Now to reel her in.
"Tell you what, Spooger'll be making a run neartime, drop him with the
Varley and I'll have carry back Spinrad. Plus a favor I may specify in the
future. If I see Varley I'll know we have a deal." With that he spins on his
heel and slouches his way out of the Chat before the Amazonian sex monster
gives him another wet hug.
